NOTICE OF PASSING - BY-LAW 50-2025 - TO RE-DIVIDE WARD BOUNDARIES IN SOUTH-WEST OXFORD
Take Notice that the Council of the Township of South-West Oxford passed By-Law 50-2025 on the 8th day of July, 2025 under Section 222 of the Municipal Act, 2001, effectively dissolving the existing wards and establishing new ward boundaries for the Township of South-West
Oxford.

Under subsection 222(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001, any person or agency may appeal, within 45 days of the by-law being passed (August 22, 2025), to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) if they have any objection to the by-law passed by Council of the Township of South-West
Oxford. Appeals must be filed with the Clerk of the Township of South-West Oxford. The Appellant or Applicant must set out the objections to the by-law and the reasons in support of the objections along with a cheque or money order in the amount of $1,100.00 made payable to the Minister of Finance.
A copy of the complete by-law is available at the Township Office: 312915 Dereham Line, Mt. Elgin and online (By-law & Schedule A). The personal information accompanying your submission is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and can form part of the public record which may be released to the public.
