When Township projects need to be completed by outside companies, the Township of South-West Oxford is committed to selecting suppliers that offer the best quality and value for the services they are providing.

We do not discriminate in favour of any particular type of supplier. When examining prices, quotes, and tenders; consideration is given to several factors including price, quality, performance, services offered, and delivery.

Section 270 of the Municipal Act mandates that a municipality must adopt and maintain policies with respect to its procurement of goods and services. The Form of Tender and Agreement lists which materials are to be supplied by the contractor. The Tenderer must satisfy themselves that they understand the meaning and intent of the drawings and specifications before submission of the tender.
