Road Resurfacing on Oxford Road 46 (Salford Road) and Quinn Drive
Oxford Road 46 (Salford Road) between Highway 19 and 390 metres east of the village limits, and Quinn Drive in Salford will be closed to through traffic beginning in June for road resurfacing. The work includes full depth asphalt removals, maintenance hole and catch basin adjustments, hot mix asphalt replacement and new pavement markings.
Traffic will be limited to local residents, businesses and emergency services. A detour route will be in place for the duration of construction.
Detour: Highway 19/Plank Line, Union Road, Duffy Line and Oxford Road 46
Road work is expected to be completed by the end of July 2025. To access the Oxford County Waste Management Facility, please use the detour route via Duffy Line to Salford Road. Please note, construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change based on contractor availability and other operational demands.
