Purpose and Effect of the Proposed Zone Change

This zone change application proposes to amend the existing ‘Special Residential Type 1 (R1-16)’ zoning to reduce the Minimum Lot Area for all internal lots from 450 m2 (4,844 ft2) to 435 m2 (4,682.3 ft2). The effect of the proposed zoning amendment will be to facilitate the development of single detached dwellings.

The subject lands are legally described as Lots 7-35, Plan 41M-404, Township of South-West Oxford. The subject lands are located south of Mount Elgin Road, between Graydon Drive and the CP Rail.
