Purpose and Effect of the Proposed Zone Change

This application proposes to rezone the subject property from ‘General Agricultural Zone (A2)’ to ‘Special Temporary General Agricultural Zone (A2-spT)’ to facilitate the development of a 108.3 m2 (1,165.3 ft2) Garden Suite in the exterior side yard of the subject property. The applicants have requested a special provision to permit a 108.3 m2 (1,165.3 ft2)
Garden Suite where the maximum gross floor area is 70 m2 (753.5 ft2).

The subject property is located on the east side of Dereham Line, between Prouse Road and Airport Road and known municipally as 312824 Dereham Line.
