Purpose and Effect of the Proposed Zone Change

The purpose of this application is to rezone the subject property from ‘General Agricultural Zone (A2)’ to ‘Aggregate
Industrial Zone (ME)’ to facilitate the development of a new mineral aggregate operation to be operated below the
maximum predicted water table elevation. The area proposed to be licensed is approximately 49.4 (122 ac) hectares
with 45.3 ha (112 ac) proposed for extraction. An application for a Class A License under the Aggregate Resources Act
(ARA) has been submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

The subject lands are legally described as Part Lots 26-27, Broken Front Concession, Township of South-West Oxford.
The subject lands are located on the south side of Hamilton Road between Five Points Road and Oakwood Street and
known municipally as 583398 Hamilton Road.
