Construction Notice: Oxford Road 6 (Foldens Line) Bridge Rehabilitation - SWOX/ZORRA

Oxford Road 6 (Foldens Line) between Oxford Road 9 and Oxford Road 2 will be closed to through traffic beginning the week of June 30 for bridge rehabilitation work. The work includes rehabilitation of the bridge structure, including concrete repairs to the bridge deck, jacking of the bridge girders to replace the bearing seats, and asphalt replacement on either side of the structure as required. 

Traffic will be limited to local traffic (people who live in the area), businesses and emergency services as vehicles will be unable to cross the bridge. A detour route will be in place for the duration of construction.

Detour: Oxford Road 9, Oxford Road 11 and Oxford Road 2

Road work is expected to be completed by November 2025. Please note, construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change based on contractor availability and other operational demands.
