Cool Cephalopods - STEAM Club

Visit the Brownsville branch of the Oxford County Library to play with tech toys, make STEAM-based crafts, and learn about the science of the world around us!

Registration is preferred, but drop-ins are also welcome! This program is recommended for children aged 8-12, but children of all ages are welcome to participate.

March 4th – Cool Cephalopods: Join us over the next few months as we check out Forest of Reading nominations from the 2026 Silver Birch Express and Yellow Cedar award categories, and then visit the Thamesford library during the month of April to vote for your favourite books! This week's book inspiration will be Octopus Ocean: Geniuses of the Deep by Mark Leiren-Young! Join us as we explore the biology of cephalopods, including octopuses, squids, and their amazing relatives! Various tech toys are always available to explore at each STEAM Club meeting, so unleash your inner scientist or engineer and join today! We look forward to seeing you there!
